Symptoms

After applying 19C update, BI Publisher Report Jobs using SFTP delivery may fail with "Server's host key fingerprint did not match the supplied value".

Changes

How to check if this update is impacting you:

          1. Pro-actively check SFTP connection:

    • Navigate to Administration -> FTP -> "Your SFTP Server name"
    • Note down the "Host Key Fingerprint"
    • Click on Test Connection

If the Host Key Fingerprint field value is changed, you will see the error  :  "Could not establish connection. oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: The host key is invalid or was not accepted!".

If you do not see any error, then you are not impacted.

          2.  Error from a Scheduled Job: A job scheduled to run when tries to deliver document using SFTP fails with the following exception:

API::Error deliver document to FTP::FILE=[::Exception happened when calling deliver API::oracle.xdo.delivery.DeliveryException:oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.SshException: Server's host key fingerprint did not match the supplied value
