Unable To Update Service Contract With NETINVOICEFLAG (Doc ID 2565844.1)

When attempting to update a service contract with NetInvoiceFlag, an error message is encountered.
The below scenario is followed:

1) Amend the existing ACTIVE contract. (Keeping amendment effective date as of todays date )
2) Update the contract ( Update the NetInvoiceFlag to true ) --in this step getting an error as readonly.

Response Error:
Attribute NetInvoiceFlag in view object ContractHeader cannot be set.
