Tax Registrations Import Using TaxImplWorkbookTemplate Does Not Work As Expected. (Doc ID 2566336.1)

Symptoms

There are two issues when using the RI spreadsheet to import Tax Registrations.

Setup and Maintenance -> Manage Tax Regimes  -> Select Download Tax Implementation Workbook -> Fill the details -> Import Tax Implementation Workbook

Issue 1: When trying to load tax registration for “Party Type” as “Supplier Site” and Supplier Site Name mentioned in the “Party Number” column, the Tax Configuration Content Upload ends in Warning and the Rapid Implementation Data Validation Report shows below error:

  The value <Supplier Name> in the ZX_PARTY_TAX_PROFILE_STG.PARTY_NAME attribute is invalid. Enter a valid value. for party type: SUPPLIER_SITE, party name: <Supplier Name> and party number: <Site Name>

Issue 2: When there are more than one suppliers in the template with two different Party Names the process treats it as duplicate record and ends with warning.
  9. Party Registration Validations
  Cannot Upload Multiple default registrations for the same party for party type: SUPPLIER_SITE, party name: <Supplier 1> and party number: <Address> and tax regime code: <Regime Name> and effective_from: YYYY-MM-DD
  Cannot Upload Multiple default registrations for the same party for party type: SUPPLIER_SITE, party name: <Supplier 2> and party number: <Address> and tax regime code: <Regime Name> and effective_from: YYYY-MM-DD
