How is Working Password Expiration Policy for multiples User Category (Doc ID 2566894.1)

Symptoms

New password policy implemented by you for your User Categories, but it seems it is not working fine as the user is getting email notification in order to reset his password, even if you have implemented for your new custom User Category this password policy: Days before password expiration: 9999 days and Days before password expiry warning: 10



Scenario:
There are 3 User Categories:

1. Default Category > this group is for all the employees, except integration users and admins
2. Integration Category > this group contain the integration user
3. Password Category > this category is created for test only and having few members only.

INTEGRATION CATEGORY has this setup password policy implemented NOW:
Days before password expiration: 9999 days
Days before password expiry warning: 10


You ran Password Expiry Report process and even if Notification is disabled for this Integration Category,

but you can see in the log for this job (PasswordExpiryEss):

Sending password expiration notification to: XXXX

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

No notification should be sent for this user XXXX, part of Integration category



BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are not sure why they receive this email notification to reset their password.
