When saving an absence record SSP is correctly calculating on the plan, but the calculation card shows a factor or 0 and as a result does not pay anything (Doc ID 2568488.1)

Last updated on JULY 23, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Payroll Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 11.13.19.04.0 version, UK - United Kingdom Legislation

Observation:
The reason could be that "You start paying SSP from the fourth ‘qualifying day’ (day an employee is normally required to work). The first 3 qualifying days are called ‘waiting days’."
As per https://www.gov.uk/employers-sick-pay/entitlement for detail on SSP entitlements.

But, we already had their 3 waiting days and 2 are payable. The 2 are not paying as the factor is zero in the calculation card....

User voided the LEL check in the action items which overrides this. If it was an issue you wouldn't see 2 days paid at full ..., so we eliminate this root cause.
