Goal

In a Big Data Appliance (BDA) or Big Data Cloud Service (BDCS) cluster, the Big Data Manager (BDM) component may be installed and accessible, (via the BDM console), but when looking in Cloudera Manager, (CM), it may not show as a managed service.

This note details how to add BDM as a Cloudera managed service in Cloudera Manager for BDA/BDCS.
