BI Publisher Custom Reports Are Not Displaying Images That Use a URL to Retreive Images (Doc ID 2569808.1)

Symptoms

A Custom Print has been created for integration with Primavera Unifier. The report template utilizes 'Image URLs' to retrieve images from a publicly accessible web page.

When the report is generated at run-time, the report does not render the image and the following error is displayed:

ERROR
-----------------------
"Refused to load the image ‘https://<URL>/Image_Path.jpg"

There are two symptoms associated with this issue:

  1. Unable to generate the image on the custom report template using an image URL and selecting HTML ouput.
  2. Unable to generate the image on the custom report template using an image URL and selecting PDF output.
