Failed to configure HCM Integration: EPMFDM-140327:An error occurred while trying to import Import Format for HCM (Doc ID 2570278.1)

Symptoms

Unable to initialize HCM source system from data management.

Following error is raised in the UI itself when performing HCM "Initialize" from Source Systems page: -
Issue: “Failed to configure HCM Integration: EPMFDM-140327:An error occurred while trying to import Import Format for HCM”.

HCM Data Source target applications are created in the Data Management target applications. However none of the remaining artifacts like import formats, locations, data load rules are getting created.
