A Tender Update on the Same Shipment Results in a Wrong Tender Acceptance Count in FTI (Doc ID 2571464.1)

Last updated on JULY 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Intelligence Cloud Service - Version 19 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When OTM sends a tender update to carrier for a shipment, FTI mis-counts the Acceptance Count.

Example flow: initial tender sent with a transaction ID 633789 --> accepted --> tender update sent with another transaction ID 650330 --> accepted. In OTM both transactions have ACCEPTANCE_CODE = ‘A’.

However, in FTI, initial tender 833789 is not considered accepted, only the tender update 650330 is counted as accepted.

This results in a lower than actual tender acceptance % and tender acceptance count.  The carrier accepted both initial tender and tender update, which is 100%. So FTI should not show this carrier acceptance %=50%.
