Invoices accounting for tax lines it shows different amt and then it offsets in another line

Invoices accounting for tax lines it shows different amount than tax line. It offsets the additional amount in another accounting line. Due to this behavior when these lines are interfaced to Assets it shows multiple lines and it makes it hard to recon.
Please advise why system is calculating a different accounting line tax amount and then adjust it in another accounting line.

Inv amount line amount is 3195. This accounting line account is correct.
Tax amount is 295.54 this is self assessed. Accounting for original tax line is 383.40 not sure why system calculated this line and it was adjusted with a credit line.
