Symptoms
When attempting to connect to ORDS,
the following error occurs.
ERROR
-----------------------
The request could not be mapped to any database. Check the request URL is correct, and that URL to database mappings have been correctly configured
When trying to connect to DB as ORDS_PUBLIC_USER, the following error is received:
ERROR
-----------------------
ORA-65162 - The password of the common user has expired.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Connect to https://<HOST>/ords/pdb1
2. Connect to DB as ORDS_PUBLIC_USER.
BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot connect to APEX.
