Symptoms
A number of - 401 Unauthorized - errors are reported when invoking Fusion Applications Web Services from external sources. This issue is intermittent and the calls to the Web Service may work for some time before the error is reported again.
The access log files show a number of errors similar to :

In these cases 401 errors have been reported when invoking Web Services:
/fscmService/ShipmentService
/fscmService/OnhandQuantityServiceV2
/crmService/FoundationPartiesLocationService
/fscmService/OrderImportService
The following UNIX commands can be executed to obtain this information:
To obtain latest occurrences run the following command and then review the file :- /tmp/UNAuthorisedyyyyMMdd.out - the file name can be changed as required.
NOTE: This command will only return the LATEST transactions for POST and GET where a 401 error has been raised.
