Bidder Cannot Respond To Email Messages When The Custom Email Template Is Created In BI Publisher (Doc ID 2573500.1)

Last updated on JUNE 16, 2021

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 19.3 to 19.6 [Release 19.3 to 19.6]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using the new functionality to create custom email templates in BI Publisher for an RFB type business process, the ability to send email works as designed. However, when the bidder logs in and tries to reply to the email from Primavera Unifier, the system gives an error message:

Unifier has identified the following invalid, or forbidden, tags or attributes:
col ["width"'"width","width","width","width"], meta, style ["type"], title

It seems to be due to the fact that there is some HTML/CSS code coming from the custom email template that gets included in the response.  Deleting the original email doesn't solve the issue however, if the bidder switches to the HTML view in the mail composing window and removes all the HTML/CSS code, then the bidder can successfully reply to the email.
