Goal

When running the batch process 'Transfer Workforce Compensation Data to HR' (Navigation: Home > Compensation > Run Batch Processes > Transfer Workforce Compensation Data to HR) there is a new required configuration.

The required input is titled 'Mark Assignments as Process' and the drop down choices are 'yes' and 'no'. You must provide an input in order to continue.

When selecting 'yes', a pop up appears: 'When the assignments are successfully posted they will be marked successfully processed (CMP-1005624). This means they can't be posted again. Continue anyway?

When selecting 'no,' a pop up appears: 'When the assignments are successfully posted they will be marked as partially processed (CMP-1005625). This means they can be posted again for other posting types. Continue anyway?

1. What was the purpose for adding this additional required field/what use case did it serve?
2. Both error messages refer to when assignments are successfully posted, that they will be marked as 'fully' or 'partially' processed. Where in the user interface can this 'mark' be seen, and what is the downstream impact other than the ability to post or not post again.
3. What does it mean to be able to post/not be able to post again for other posting types. What is a use case/benefit for this limitation?
