Facebook Unpublished Posts Are Not In The Active Folder (Doc ID 2575268.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 15, 2020

Oracle Social Engagement and Monitoring Cloud Service - Version N/A to N/A [Release V1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using the Social Cloud - Oracle Service Cloud integration which uses the REST API of SRM to get messages from the active folder, using the query parameter folder="active". Recently, it was noticed that Facebook unpublished posts (paid sponsored posts) and comments against them do not reach Oracle Service Cloud. We investigated the cause of this and we discovered that messages related to Facebook unpublishedrk posts are not included in the "active" folder that the REST API gets all the messages from. We have noticed that unpublished post messages can be retrieved using the query parameter folder="hidden", but this also returns a large amount of hidden and archived messages which the integration should not process.

Please, can you confirm which type of messages should be included in the active and hidden folders, by default? Additionally, is there a way to automatically move Facebook dark post messages into the active folder in Social Cloud so that our integration pulls them.
