Purpose

This knowledge article focuses on the Oracle Utilities Field Service Cloud package upgrades, Integration package upgrades, as well as customizations. It describes one of the options to implement Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service Integration to Oracle Field Service Cloud that can be used as a reference.

Details below are applicable to Customer Cloud Service 20B.

Scope

This knowledge article focuses on the Oracle Utilities Field Service Cloud package upgrades, Integration package upgrades, as well as customizations. It describes one of the options to implement Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service Integration to Oracle Field Service Cloud that can be used as a reference.

Note that the options/settings applicable to Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service are applicable to Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter.

 

The Oracle Field Service Cloud and Oracle Cloud for Integration packages are delivered as accelerators. Implementations can use them as a starting point. Any changes done to the packages are not upgradable and have to be manually incorporated to the next version delivered by Oracle.

 

We suggest you to document any customizations in Oracle Field Service Cloud, Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service or Oracle Cloud for Integration so those can be used as reference at subsequent stages when there is a next integration version released. You may want to plugin those changes back and help the implementation team.
