RMS Is Allowing Edited RTV Quantities To Be A Partial SUOM (Doc ID 2577837.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On editing a previously added RMS RTV Item which had quantities added based on an EA unit of measure, the item edit window reverts to case multiples and a case unit of measure which can include partial (decimal) case multiples. If a user changes the UOM drop-down from CS to EA, the original case multiple value within Requested Quantity input box remains the same and not recalculated to the EA equivalent.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a RTV.
2. Enter Item.
3. For requested quantity be sure to use an item with an inner pack size > 1 and enter an amount that is greater than 1 inner pack, but fewer than 2.
5. Re-open the RTV and attempt to edit the item.
6. Change the CS (Case) UOM back to EA, but do not update the quantity, then Save.
7. Approve the RTV.
8. Note that the decimal value of eaches flows to SIM.
