Symptoms
On-premises or classic instance, customer was able to load data from MS SQL or Oracle database instance located in the same network or inside a firewall. After moving to autonomous instance, the same operation fails with error
ERROR - 1350005 - Attempt to connect to database failed with error [[OracleDataDirect][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Connection refused. Verify Host Name and Port Number.].
ERROR - 1241101 - Unexpected Essbase error 1350005.
Changes
Unlike on-premises or classic instance where Essbase is often located in the same network with customer’s database instance, Essbase in OAC Oracle Managed and Customer managed instance is located in one of Oracle Data Centers around the world.
