Goal
This note describes updating the shipment status on an Order which is being shipped by an external shipment Application. The OrderFulfillmentResponseService Web Service is invoked to update the fulfillment line status. In the example provided the Web Service is invoked from SOAPUI, the same service can be invoked by a SOA application via ICS if this is required. The example payload is used to Ship the fulfillment line, the same web service can be invoked to perform other shipping transactions including, splitting, picking and backordering the fulfillment line.
