Goal

The conditional required fields work as expected when used with the CREATE event in the mobile app composer. But when the object (contact or Opportunity ) is edited the conditional required fields all become required.
We have tried to code in the BEFORE SAVE, AFTER SAVE and FIELD VALUE events and they don't seem to work as required. Is there an option to make the conditional required fields work on the edit layouts
