Response From Project/Shell Mailbox to an Item Generated in the Linked Mail Section of a Record Is Not Referenced in the Record (Doc ID 2582241.1)

When Replying to a mail item in the Project/Shell Mailbox that originated from the Linked Mail section of a Business Process (BP) record

Expected Results

The Reply should be referenced in the Link Mail section of the Business Process record that the mail item originated from.

Actual Results

The Reply is not referenced in the record.


When a mail is sent to a user_B from user_A via a record by navigating to the Linked Mail section of the record observe that the mail is attached/referenced to the record.
Now the mail is available for user_B in both the Project/Shell Mailbox and the record itself.
If the user_B replies the mail from user_A via the Project/Shell Mailbox, the reply mail is not linked/referenced to the initial mail in the record.
But if the user_B opens the record and does a reply from there, the reply mail is also linked to the record.

Please note that this behavior reported is in accordance to what is given in the Unifier Help Doc, but lacks a message in Standard UI which is present in Classic UI. "This mail and any future replies are linked to business process records" is also available. User is able to click on the link 'Business process records' and check the BP details.
