Null GL_BALANCES.TEMPLATE_ID being treated differently to before in BICC Extract from Fusion
Investigation has shown that this issue may be being caused by the way the null values of GL_BALANCES.TEMPLATE_ID are being treated in the BICC Extract from Fusion.
Previously, a null value of GL_BALANCES.TEMPLATE_ID has been represented by 0 (Zero) but recently it seems to have changed to be a Null.
The reason that this could be the cause of the reconciliation issues is that the TEMPLATE_ID forms part of the the INTEGRATION_ID for the W_GL_BALANCES_F fact table and the belief is that this is causing the ETL to insert additional rows instead of updating an existing one.
The timing of this change appears to have happened on or around 21st July 2019 i.e. around the time of the July Fusion patching.
