ExcludeChannel("Online") Also Excludes Rest Channel (Doc ID 2586160.1)

Symptoms

The expression ExcludeChannel("Online") in the workflow also excludes REST when we try to update a record via Restful API.

Wordflow Name: Exclude Channel_Account
Workflow Rule Condition: ExcludeChannel("Online")

Hence, when trying to update a record on a browser, it stops us from doing so. But when trying to update the record via other channels like Web Services and Rest, we should be able to update the record. But it does not work for Rest.
