Error: Emulator session resume failed. When Attempting to Access the Primavera Virtual Desktop Session (Doc ID 2587661.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to login to Primavera Virtual Desktop (PVD),
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Emulator session resume failed.

Emulator session:
<$servername>
Fault Code: Server.LaunchFailed
Fault String: Launch Failed
Fault Detail: ErrPermissionDenied.Resource:null


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Click the Primavera Virtual Desktop from the P6 EPPM jump page
  2. Go to the Secure Global Desktop interface
  3. Start the PVD session, error occurs
  4. After many times attempting to connect, the connection succeeds
