Symptoms
- Internal or External Career Section down.
- System Error when selecting Career Section Administration Link in Configuration.
- When candidates access the career section URL, the page results in a system error. This may also happen with Tas- or SSO-enabled Career Sections.
- Error: https://[zonename.taleo.net]/careersection/CSCODE/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en
- Error: Career Section Unavailable: The Career section you are trying to access is not available for the moment. The system may be under maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you used a link or bookmark to reach this page, please try again later. Thank you for your understanding. System Administrator.
Recreation Steps:
- Navigate to the Career section with: https://ZONENAME.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en Or https://tas-ZONENAME.taleo.net/careersection/ex/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en Note: All Career Sections will be inaccessible.
- Page results in system error such as:

A system error has occurred.We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please exit the application and open a new session.
If the problem persists, please contact the HR department of the company for which you are applying.
Please ask for assistance regarding your online job application or ask for their Taleo system administrator.
If the hiring company cannot solve your issue, they will log a ticket with Oracle Support and follow up with you.
