Goal

Auto-Approval rule is not working properly following 19B update.

We have our salary change rule for corporate setup to route approval to the HRBP with the AOR for the org of the person being transacted on. Until recently (maybe since 19B?), the transaction used to auto approve if the person submitting the salary change (via manage salary) was also the HRBP with the AOR for the org of the person being transacted on. Now it is not. HRBPs have submitted a salary change and instead of auto approving, it’s just assigning it to them and they have to manually approve each one as if they’d been submitted by someone else.
