Goal

On Password Notifications

My IDCS Password expired without any notifications

OFSC-->OAC integration failed due to password expiry

The Identity Cloud Service password has been Expired without any notifications, which caused failure of data migration from OFSC to OAC PROD.

End user credentials were used in the OFSC--> OAC integration.

Please provide clarity on below points to mitigate the issue in future,

1.) What is the current setup in Oracle for Notifications to notify password expiry(specifically ICS).

2.) We could see an option to extend the password expiry days in ICS portal. What is the maximum limit(no. of days) we can set up?

3.) We would like to get notifications for any password expiry in well advanced and send in defined interval until it is expired.

The issue was addressed by updating with another users password which resolved the issue.
