Getting "You Can't Update The Payment Terms On The Invoice" Error

On : 11.13.19.07.0 version, Billing - Transactions
When we try to update an invoice we are getting below error.
You can't update the payment terms on the invoice. This invoice was accounted and posted to general ledger. (AR-857771)
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
It says payment terms cannot be updated but we are not trying to update the payment terms instead we are updating "StructuredPaymentReference" column.
We can update the same field on SaaS UI but not via REST API.
