Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud Service - Version 19.3 to 20.1 [Release 19 to 20]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OTM planning fails to plan a shipment when

- CHECK LOCATION CAPACITY=TRUE
- Rate Offering has a 'DayDuration' Rate Service type.

OTM is able to plan a shipment if you set CHECK LOCATION CAPACITY=FALSE

EXAMPLE:
-------------

Order: OR-01
Rate Offering: RO_01 (has a DayDuration Rate Service)

Planning Parameter Set: LOCATION_CAPACITY_PPS
(CHECK LOCATION CAPACITY = TRUE)

Planning Parameter Set: DEFAULT
(CHECK LOCATION CAPACITY = FALSE)

01. Plan the order using PPS (LOCATION_CAPACITY_PPS), planning fails.

02. Plan order using the PPS (DEFAULT), planning works fine and creates a shipment.
