Last updated on MARCH 09, 2021

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.13.19.04.0 version, Global Payroll

Need to calculate the unpaid leave by deducting the total salary of the employee except the housing allowance. They have implemented below solution in this regard by create absence salary balance and use it inside the rate as contributor then create absence element using the absence leave rate, finally integrate that element and rate inside the absence plan.
After recording an unpaid leave and run QuickPay, the result of deduction was inaccurate according to balance rate. The calculation considers only the Salary Basis element value for calculation which is incorrect per setup.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Home > Person Management > search (39) > Manage Absence Records
Record unpaid leave for two days

2) Home > Home > Payroll > Payroll Calculation > Search Person
Run QuickPay to make sure deduction have been calculated correctly.
