Symptoms

In P6 Professional connected with a cloud connection, when importing a large xer file with many external relationships, the application hangs during the import of External Relationships.

It will go into a not responding state and does not appear to ever complete


Steps To Reproduce

  1. Login to P6 Professional.
  2. Connect with p6procloudconnect.
  3. Go through the XER import process, ensure to check relationships to external projects option.
  4. Notice behavior reported.
