Symptoms

On : 11.13.19.04.0 version, Global Human Resources

When attempting to hire an employee the following error is seen after submit the process:

ERROR

"An application error accurred. See the incident log for more information.
An application error has occured. Your help desk can use the folloing information to obtain a more detailed description of this incident: 82, Server Domain: FADomain, Server Instance: UIServer_1, Application Name: ORA_HCM_UIAPP."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator
2. Hire an employee

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot hire new employees.

Log shows

java.lang.Exception: An application error occurred. See the incident log for
more
                information.
at
oracle.apps.fnd.applcore.messages.ExceptionHandlerUtil.processExceptionWithRes
ourceBundle(ExceptionHandlerUtil.java:125)

Caused by: javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: javax.el.ELException:
oracle.jbo.JboException: ORA-01086: savepoint CREATE_EMPLOYEE never
established in this session or is invalid
ORA-06512: at "FUSION.PAY_ENTRY_MAINTENANCE", line 238
ORA-20001: An error occurred. The procedure pay_maint_pkg.get_enterprise_id
failed at step 10.  Details: Contact your help desk.
