You are receiving a java.lang.NullPointerException error and so Order Releases fail when doing a bulk plan and using the Conopt Merge Algorithm due to this error stack trace:
You cannot use networking routing because it is not working with ground schedules.
Bulk plan 2 order releases with same source and different destinations which should be included in a multi-stop shipment and planning fails.
You use a single leg itinerary, WITHOUT the check on "Multi-Stop Itinerary" checkbox at Itinerary header level.
You have to uncheck this checkbox in order to have this itinerary considered as a Routing Option when using "Cost Based Routing" as planning logic (please refer to Doc ID 1053086.1).
Therefore in order to get a multi-stop you also have to set "Multi-stop into One Equipment" as Auto Consolidation Type at Itinerary Leg level.
Using all DEFAULT params except setting Conopt Merge for Multistop Cons Algorithm in Multistop Logic Config, the orders fail to plan.
If multistop is checked on itinerary the order plan with Conopt Merge but you do not get the best cost option.
