Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.04.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
To determine the reason as to why an absence is showing as status "Denied" in the following screens.
For the HR Specialist
Home/MyClientGroups/Manage Employment/Search for a person/Use the Orange 'actions' menu/Manage Absences
or
For the Employee (self-service)
Home/Me/Time & Absences/Existing Absences
For example, the Absence could be marked as 'Denied' due to the Absence Approval being rejected by the manager - but it could also be marked as 'Denied' if there is an expiry time on the Absence Approval and the task expiry limit has been reached. For example, Absence Approval expiry limits can be set as follows:
- Click on the Bell icon
- Click on 'more details'
- Click on the drop down name/administration
- Click on 'task configuration'
- Click on 'AbsencesApprovalsTask'
- Click on the "Deadlines" tab
- Expand "Expiration Settings"
- If Task Level" or "Assignee Level" is ticked, expirations can be set at these levels.
