Account Cannot Be Updated Via A REST Call Or From UI After Adding Or Creating Opportunity Associated (Doc ID 2600233.1)

Issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Create or open and existing account with a Sales Rep standard user;
  2. Go in the Opportunity subtab and create a new Oppty or add an existing Oppty;
  3. Save and close the Account record
  4. Log off and log in
  5. Account profile becomes Read Only in SUI, and also the account cannot be updated trough WS operations

Error Message for REST update
You do not have the required permission. You can request that your help desk change your security settings. Contact your help desk. (FND-14)
