Oracle CPQ Cloud - CPQ/Salesforce 1 Mobile Application Compatibility Issues in iOS

CPQ/Salesforce 1 Mobile Application Compatibility Issues in iOS

Hello Oracle CPQ Cloud Customer,
The CPQ team has been made aware of certain issues with the CPQ integration using the Salesforce1 Mobile application due to known issues with Salesforce and Apple iOS.

Summary: With the latest iOS versions (12.4.x / 13.x), users are unable to create or manipulate quotes in CPQ from the Salesforce1 app on iPads or iPhones without manipulating several settings in the latest supported Managed packages (7.x - 8.x) of CPQ for SFDC.

Note that CPQ functions properly on all versions of the SF1 mobile app when using devices on iOS versions prior to iOS 12.4.

Review: If you feel the above can have an impact to your organization, please review the following knowledge article (in My Oracle Support) for full detail regarding the compatibility issues with SF1 and iOS 12.4.x and iOS 13.x. Additionally, the Salesforce links below provide information regarding the issues with the iOS versions.

Important: These are acknowledged issues between Salesforce and iOS versions and cannot be resolved by Oracle CPQ Cloud. The Oracle CPQ Cloud team will actively work with Salesforce as required to assist with future resolutions. Any requests for assistance with this issue should be directed to Salesforce Support.

It is highly recommended that CPQ users who frequently use iOS devices refrain from updating their iOS software to 13.x until Salesforce and Apple can resolve the known issue above. If the iOS 13 update is taken, CPQ will need to be taken out of embedded mode for it to work on the mobile device.
