Fusion Performance Management:How to use the option "Maximum Number of Concurrent Threads for Performance Document Creation" on Eligibility Batch Process (Doc ID 2601122.1)

Goal

While running the Eligibility batch process in Performance,there is  option called "Create Eligible Performance Document", and an option of Yes and No. Also if selected on Yes, it given another option for "Maximum Number of Concurrent Threads for Performance Document Creation". Can you please let me know what this option does, as clicking on Yes or No is not making any difference in the System for Performance document created.
