Channel Type Get's Cleared (Doc ID 2601630.1)

On : version, Leads / Sales Campaigns

Customer is creating Leads from Eloqua. The lead is successfully created, but the Lead Channel is not populated (has blank value).
The blank value is caused by a Before insert in the Database trigger, that it's setting a different BU at lead creation.


1. Create a Before Insert trigger to set Business Unit Id to a different business unit.
2. Create a Lead and select Channel Type as Web in create page
3. Save and Continue
4. In edit page, the channel type gets cleared.
