Fusion Global HR : Changed The PENDING WORKER Email Type From HOME To WORK but Onboarding Email Is Not Triggered (Doc ID 2603607.1)

Last updated on JULY 26, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Human Resources Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

As per the user guide, when we move the candidate to MOVE TO HR step, it creates a pending worker record. We pull the pending worker record in PERSON MANAGEMENT > Manage Person and change the email type from HOME to WORK.

Also, we reset the password. However, all the emails for new password and onboarding checklist tasks are coming to the manager, not pending worker. What change is needed to ensure onboarding email will go to PENDING WORKER?

How You Enable Email Notifications
During Preboarding Typically, pending workers don't have a corporate email address. And all preboarding email notifications are sent only to the email address marked as Work. So, in order for pending workers to receive email notifications you need to specify their personal email address as type Work in their personal information record.

Note:
• The email address you enter in the Work Email field isn't validated.
• After the pending worker becomes an employee, you will need to replace the personal email address with the corporate email address in the Security Console.
