Autonomous Database Dedicated - Version NA and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
- APEX is hosted in Autonomous Database Service.
- User received an email notification to change their APEX password.
- After resetting their password the user (an APEX workspace administrator) receives an "Invalid Credentials" error when trying to log into the APEX Builder,
but does not receive the error when specifying the same credentials running an APEX application from the same environment. - Another administrator can log in without issue and updated the password for the user that receives the error, but the error continues (again the updated credentials work when running an APEX application).
- Issue still occurs after resetting the APEX password for <user> as per the following documentation:
Changes
User reset their APEX user password from APEX user interface.
