BI Publisher To Excel Template Outputting Date as '1/0/1900' (Doc ID 2606223.1)

Created a report in BI Publisher which is using an excel template for the output.

Preview the excel template all the data looks ok.

However, when I run the report all of the dates in each date column are outputting as: 1/0/1900

How to fix this?
