Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle CRM On Demand - Version 031CS to 031CS [Release 31]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Details

This message is for all Oracle CRM On Demand customers who have Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled for their organization's Stage Environment.

All customers should update their SSO Stage Environment with the new metadata / certificate prior to next Wednesday, November 06, 2019.

Please Note: This will be posted as 'Standard Maintenance'. Information on the Service Information page and in any email alerts you receive will list it as such.

Actions

Download the new metadata (also including just the certificate) from the Oracle CRM On Demand Support Portal at the following link:

https://test-sso.crmondemand.com/oamfed/sp/metadata?signid=testssosigning2019&encid=testssoencryption2019

Customers can upload the new certificate at any time. Users whose Stage Environments have not been updated with this new certificate by November 6 may not be able to utilize their company's SSO capabilities; i.e., they may not be able to access the Stage Environment using SSO. Customers using the metadata should wait to upload it until after 5:00pm Eastern Time on November 6.

This certificate update is required for customers who requested Oracle to sign their outgoing requests for validation.

Note: This update is for your Oracle CRM On Demand Stage Environment only. There will be separate certificate later in December for updating your Production Environment. More information on this will be available soon.

If the posted documentation and email instructions do not address your specific questions, or if you identify any issues, please submit a Service Request with Oracle Global Customer Support.
