Scheduled Reports: Some Failing, 'User Defined Report Failed To Generate' In Attached PDF (Doc ID 2607336.1)

Expected Result

When a User-Defined Report (UDR) is Scheduled and Auto e-mail as an attachment to the report owner and/or users/groups, and the 'Results from scheduled reports' setting is enabled/checked in the user's Preferences, the user should receive an automated e-mail with a PDF file attached containing the report's output.

Actual Result

The UDR is automatically e-mailed, however the content of the PDF file reads "User defined report failed to generate.".

When checking the Saved Results in Unifier it is observed that some reports have been failing for some time (showing as Error in Saved Results), others show an error one minute before results are generated (showing as Error and then Scheduled one minute later in Saved Results).

The reports do return data when ran Ad Hoc by the user in Unifier.

Something similar to the following can be found in the Log files:

Business Impact

Because of this the users cannot view the expected output in the PDF file that is automatically e-mailed and they have to sign into Unifier to run the report.
