Import XML Fails With "ResourceObjectId or RoleObjectId must be set when creating ResourceAssignment objects" (Doc ID 2608950.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import an XML file, the import job fails.

Error

"ResourceObjectId or RoleObjectId must be set when creating ResourceAssignment objects

 

Note:  If the log file does not contain the actual error, it is necessary to retrieve the error from the joblog table, column job_log_data. For an Oracle database, use SQL Developer and click the pencil icon in the job_log_data column. Click Text in the pop up box.  Copy the contents of the box and paste to a notepad application.
