Symptoms

When attempting to import a Primavera XML,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
SEVERE: The Resource you selected was deleted by another user
com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException: The Resource you selected was deleted by another user
at com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.persistence.PersistenceProviderImpl.persist(PersistenceProviderImpl.java:131)
...

SEVERE: null
com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException
....
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
....
Original Exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException

 

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Import a Primavera XML to P6 Professional.
  2. The import service fails with above error.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot import Primavera XML
