Undeployed Period Structure: Unable To Modify the Name and/or Set the Status To Inactive (Doc ID 2610495.1)

Symptoms

On Unifier : Version 19.10

When a Period Structure has been created and NOT deployed:

From Unifier Documentation: Once you have created a period structure, it cannot be deleted. In addition, once a period is in use in a deployed Portfolio Manager, it cannot be modified or inactivated.

Expected Result

The Name of an un-deployed Period Structure should be able to be modified and the item's Status be set to Inactive.

Actual Result

The user is unable to modify the Name of the item or set the status to Inactive.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the Company workspace, click on Admin mode
  2. Navigate to Standards & Libraries > Period Structure
  3. Create one New Item, make it Active, and save it
  4. Open the item and try to change the Name and set the Status to Inactive

 

On Unifier : Version 19.11

When a Period Structure has been created and NOT deployed:

Expected Result

The Name of an un-deployed Period Structure should be able to be modified and the item's Status be set to Inactive.

Actual Result

While the user can set the Status of the item to Inactive - the Name cannot be modified.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the Company workspace, click on Admin mode
  2. Navigate to Standards & Libraries > Period Structure
  3. Create one New Item, make it Active, and save it
  4. Open the item and try to change the Name
