Location Type Cannot Be NULL Error When Defaulting Value Of Location Type (Doc ID 2610888.1)

Symptoms

Location type cannot be NULL Error when defaulting value of Location Type.
Getting error that location type cannot be NULL. It seems the default value of Location Type defined during Template configuration is not getting picked by the coresvc code.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Define a custom Price Change template with Location type defaulted as '1' for Zone.
  2. Default as the location field as well. For our case the default zone id was '1'
  3. Untick the include check boxes of these fields.
  4. Upload a price change record using this template.
  5. You will see status as 'Processed with Errors'. In the view issues, the error will be displayed 'Location type cannot be NULL'.
