Last updated on MARCH 12, 2021

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version N/A to 19.10 [Release NA to 19.10]

Symptoms

On Unifier : Any Version

When a Dynamic Data Set (DDS) has a Behavior set that dictates either; a) editable required, and b) read-only, and placed on a form that can be saved and edited:

Expected Result

In Classic View (old UI): Data is entered into the Behavior child element when in the editable required stage and saved. Edit the form while the child element is still editable required and remove the previously saved value. Switch the Master Data Element (MDE) so that the child element becomes read-only and find that the user is able to save the form and the previously saved data is 'cleared' from the child element.

In Standard View (new UI): The same behavior should be seen.

Actual Result

In Standard View: Data is entered into the Behavior child element when in the editable required stage and saved. Edit the form while the child element is still editable required and remove the previously saved value. Switch the Master Data Element (MDE) so that the child element becomes read-only and find that the previously saved value is re-populated to the child element when it becomes read-only.

Business Impact

Because of this users cannot clear previously saved data in the DDS's Behavior Set in Standard View.
