Goal

Configure BI Publisher to Connect Using a Private Subnet

Requirement:

Set a sFTP connection between Fusion HCM SaaS environments to PaaS DBCS and MFT servers.
In the host name of the sFTP connection customer is using public IP.
Because of this, customer database servers in the PaaS is hosted on public IP, which should not be as there are security concerns.

Requirement is to know if there is an option or way to set the Fusion SaaS HCM connection based on the private IP or do they need to do some network changes in the PaaS servers, so that thought the PaaS server will be hosted on private IP, they can connect to HCM SaaS using public IP.

Since customer has everything under one data center, could they have the private subnet used to establish the SFTP connections? They need to create the database in PaaS provisioned on the private IP, if they do so, they won't be able to create a connection FTP between SaaS and PaaS over public IP. How can they achieve this, as due to security it is not recommenced to have database provisioned on public IP.
