Fusion AP: Consolidated Note for Create Accounting Errors Due To Balancing Segment Value (BSV) Assignment / Balancing Issues (Doc ID 2614215.1)

Symptoms

The Create Accounting process shows the following error(s):

 ERROR
-----------------------

The segment value {SEGMENT_NAME} in the account {ACCOUNT_VALUE} is not assigned to the ledger {LEDGER_NAME}.  (message_name = XLA_AP_INVALD_BAL_SEG)

or

This subledger journal entry is not balanced by balancing segments and the Enable Intercompany Accounting option is turned off. (message_name = XLA_AP_IC_POST_FLAG_OFF)

or

There are no intercompany payables accounts defined for the from legal entity abc Ltd. and to legal entity xyz Ltd..  Details: Intercompany payables accounts must be defined for this intercompany relationship. (message_name = XLA_INTER_PAY_NOT_ASSIGNED)

or

There are no intercompany receivables accounts defined for the from legal entity abc Ltd. and the to legal entity xyz Ltd..  Details: Intercompany receivables accounts must be defined for this intercompany relationship.    (message_name = XLA_INTER_REC_NOT_ASSIGNED)

or

A corresponding rule wasn't found in the intercompany balancing rules setup for defining a ledger intercompany account.  (message_name = XLA_FUN_LEDGER_BALRULE_NOT_DEF)
